Melissa was a young lady in my neighborhood that passed away suddenly last summer due to complications from pneumonia.
She loved children and people of all ages, and was well loved in return by her family and peers. She was an excellent student involved in several different sports and activities, and served her classmates as a newly elected senior officer at Pleasant Grove High School.
I was honored to receive this commission from Melissa's close friend Lacie Fugal, who presented it as a memorial gift to the Johnson family at Melissa's funeral.
