At the present, the only official art class I teach is Life Drawing at Brigham Young University in the Department of Visual Arts [VaDes 350R].
The class is an indispensable opportunity for art majors to draw the human figure from a live model in a rigorous academic setting. The syllabus for this course should answer many of the questions students might have at the outset of the class, as well as later on throughout the sememster.
Art students who are not in my class (or any class for that matter) might also glean some worthwhile information from the syllabus, such as a list of useful drawing materials, a list of informative books, and various drawing hints and suggestions.
In time, I also hope to post some additional resources, constructive critiques, and useful ideas for art students on this web site. I appreciate your patience.
